Introducing Creative Meditative Flow Studio

This year, Creative Meditative Flow Series is getting a makeover. It is becoming two courses: Foundations and Studio.

Creative Meditative Flow: Foundations is a DIY course. Move at your own pace and slowly build a toolkit of ways to get started on a page in your journal.

Creative Meditative Flow Studio is a series of four live Zoom classes. It's a lab for creative practice, mixing freeform creativity, conversation, and book making. These are small groups of creative souls, and the series also weaves in mindfulness and connection.

If you are interested in joining the September 2026 Cohort, registration is open through September 11.

We'll work on paper sized 9x12 or smaller, and you can choose whatever medium you want to use. This is unstructured play time on the page, guided by curiosity rather than technique. I'll lead guided meditations, facilitate our book discussion, and walk you through turning your creations into zines and the final folio.

Zoom Sessions for Fall 2026 - Sundays

  • 9/13/26: 1:00-3:00 PM Central
  • 9/20/26: 1:00-3:00 PM Central
  • 9/27/26: 1:00-3:00 PM Central
  • 10/04/26: 1:00-3:00 PM Central

Here is a handy time zone converter  to make sure you avoid "time zone confusion.

Join me, Roxanne, aka Super Doodle Girl

Creative Meditative Flow Studio is capped at 30 students, small enough for connection and personal attention. Over four live Zoom sessions, you'll paint, reflect, and bring your creative practice back to life alongside a book study of Austin Kleon's Don't Call It Art. Each session builds a zine from your painted pages, and in the final class you'll create a finished folio to hold your work.

This course is for you if:

  • You've taken Creative Meditative Flow Series before, or you're already comfortable doodling and playing on the page.
  • You want more peace, but don't know how to slow down.
  • You're ready to explore mindfulness through a creative practice.

Never picked up a pen for play before?
Start with
Creative Meditative Flow: Foundations first, and join Studio when you're ready.

Weekly Zines

A zine is a small book created from a piece of paper. We will create one each week.

Book Study for Inspiration

In each Zoom session, we will start with a discussion of the readings from Austin Kleon's new book, Don't Call it Art.

An Artist Book Collection

In our final session, we will make a portfolio to hold our collection of zines. Very fancy, indeed!

FAQs for SDG Online Classes

What’s your refund policy?

Due to the digital nature of these courses, all purchases are final. Please read the course descriptions carefully and reach out with any questions before enrolling. I want you to feel confident and excited about joining!

How long do I have access to the class?

You’ll have ongoing access to the course for as long as Super Doodle Girl offers it on Teachable. Come back to refresh, reset, or rewatch anytime.

What’s the difference between HYBRID and DIY courses?

HYBRID Courses

These are premium, small-group experiences that last 6–8 weeks and include:

  • Weekly live Zoom sessions
  • Content that is gated and released each week
  • Private discussion areas where students share reflections, artwork, and progress

These are intentionally designed for connection and accountability. Space is limited to keep the vibe personal and supportive.

DIY (On-Demand) Courses

These are self-paced courses that you can start any time. You’ll get full access to all pre-recorded videos and can move through them at your own speed. These do not include community features or live Zoom sessions.

How do I get help if I have a question?

Each course includes an Ask Me Anything section where you can post questions. Whether it’s about supplies, a specific lesson, or you just need a little creative encouragement—I'm here for you!

How do I watch the classes?

Once you register, you'll have instant access to your course through the Teachable platform. You can watch lessons on your browser (PC, Mac, tablet, or phone), or use the Teachable app on iPhone or iPad for easy on-the-go access.

Note: If the class includes discussion or comment features, you’ll need to use Chrome or Safari on a browser. The comment system does not work in the Teachable app.

What kinds of materials are included with the course?

Every course includes a printable handout to guide your creative journey. Whether you're just getting started or have been creating for years, these guides are designed to support you.

You'll also find a section with pen tests and supply demos, so you can see exactly what I’m using in each class. You don’t need the exact same supplies to participate—but I know many of you love to peek at what’s in my art bag!

Can I download the class videos?

No, the videos are not downloadable. You’ll need an internet connection to stream them through your browser or the Teachable app. Offline viewing is not currently supported for these courses.

Can I share my login or class access with someone else?

Nope—each registration is for one student. This is an honor system, and sharing your login could result in removal from the course. Thank you for respecting the work and community.

Can I share what I create from class on social media?

Yes, please do! I love seeing what you make. Be sure to tag @superdoodlegirl and mention the course so I can celebrate your creativity (and maybe even share your post!).

Can I sell the art I make in class?

These workshops are designed for personal growth and creative exploration. You’re welcome to use what you make as learning and inspiration, but please don’t sell exact replicas of the class projects or claim them as original designs. Adapt the techniques into your own style—and make it truly yours.

Are there captions or subtitles available?

Yes! All videos include English captions. For some courses, subtitles in other languages (such as Spanish, French, German, etc.) may be available—check the individual course page for details.
